Battleship is a pure two-player duel: hide a fleet, call out grid coordinates, and work out where the enemy ships are hiding from the pattern of hits and misses. The portable battle cases keep pieces organized and make it easy to play on a small table or while travelling. The advanced Salvo mode adds a second way to play once the classic rules feel familiar. Its limitation is scope — it is strictly a two-player game, so it will not serve a larger family group on its own.
